Basic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing


This is a bit of a science experiment.

Three parts good olive oil

Two parts acid such as vinegar, lemon juice

One part emulsifier such as mustard, yogurt, ketchup, jam

Seasoning such as minced garlic, herbs salt pepper

If using raw garlic (and you should) place it in a strainer and run boiled water over it. This just reduces the edge raw garlic has. Place your ingredients a jar with a lid and shake.
