Spiced Nuts

I make these every year at Christmas. You can play around with the spices and the mustard flavours.

4 cups of mixed nuts

1 x egg white

1 heaping tbsp. of grainy mustard

2 tbsp. of sugar

1/2 tsp. of cayenne

Salt

Pre heat oven to 350° F. Lightly whisk egg white and add mustard, sugar, cayenne and salt to taste. Add nuts and toss well to cover. Spread out onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, and lightly browned. Keep your eye/nose on these, don't let them burn. Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight jar. This makes a great gift for a Christmas door drop.
